Product vision
Own the feedback experience while keeping your existing workflow.
The problem
Small SaaS teams need to collect requests, show progress, and close the feedback loop. Dedicated platforms add cost and another system of record, even when the team already manages product work in Notion, GitHub, Linear, or spreadsheets.
The thesis
Feedbax should own the public customer experience while the team's existing tool remains the operational backend.
Own your feedback. Keep your existing workflow.
For the MVP, that means turning a Notion database into a polished customer feedback portal and reusing identity from the host application.
Principles
- Quick to deploy and inexpensive to run.
- Framework, connector, and hosting-platform agnostic at the core.
- Public browsing; authentication only where identity is required.
- Honest capabilities instead of pretending every backend behaves identically.
- Excellent defaults with configuration when needed.
- Data portability without artificial open-source limitations.
- Static/CDN-first reads and lightweight server-side mutations.
Non-goals
Feedbax will not become a help desk, general analytics suite, or full product-management platform. Full synchronization, mandatory AI infrastructure, surveys, enterprise administration, and realtime WebSockets are Deferred.
